ACARA Title: The past in the present:
As technology is an integral part of our everyday lives, students will spend this term learning about what technology is today and how it has developed throughout time. They will focus on the changes and advances in communication, transport and cooking and how these have impacted our everyday lives. This learning will include interviewing people from various generations to discover similarities and differences between times. Following this, students will learn about some of the traditional toys and games of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children. To finish off the term the students will learn about toys from the past and make a model of a favourite toy.
